Community Grant Funds

As part of our Positive Pawprint strategy we have been able to get Community Grant Funds for local charities.

In 2023 we supported Wild Things Rescue, a local charity for the care and rehabilitation of wildlife.

 

As a practice we work closely with them whenever we have injured or sick wildlife handed in to us.

 

This fund would cover daily consumables, food and equipment like incubators.

 

This year we have supported Mint Lane Cafe, a local community café that is part of the Mint Lane Wellbeing Hub in Lincoln.

The purpose of the café is not only to be a communal and inclusive safe space for all, but also a zero-waste café, where most of the food served is made from scratch by volunteers using surplus ingredients donated by supermarkets and producers. This is a hugely important way of reducing food waste and subsequently reducing our carbon footprint.

We are pleased to support these two charities, both financially and through staff volunteering their time. We hope, with contributions like these, they can continue their incredible work for the community.
